Assessment and Authentication of Promea Therapeutic’s Indigenous Digital Hemoglobin Analyzer (Dr. Protech H+)

Haemoglobin estimation is an important screening test for patients. Despite many methods available, each method has some advantages and disadvantages. Hemoglobin by digital Meter proved to be a very reliable, sophisticated, appropriate ideal especially particular setup like blood donation / premedical also reliable in comparison hematology analyzer. Materials Methods: A study of 350 Single donor platelet donors evaluate Promea’s Digital Analyzer (Dr. Protech H+) was done laboratory from November 2022 December 2022.and data were compared Sysmex KX 21 cell counter which one the most accurate estimation. Out 247 male 103 female. Mean value (mean 14.0 g/dl) slightly lower 0.2 reference 14.2 but not statistically significant. In cost effective with sensitivity specificity more than 95%. indicates high precision. Conclusion: gives comparable results hence easy operate effective.
